NTPC NCR-HQ organises NTPC open competition for executive talent

National Capital Region Head Quarter, Noida of NTPC has organised the Regional round of”NTPC Open Competition for Executive Talent’ 2013 (NOCET) to enable the NTPC Executives to develop general management skills, encourage creativity and innovative thinking & build team spirit. Shri A.K.Ahuja, Regional Executive Director (NC) was chief guest of the function. Five teams representing five power stations Dadri, Badarpur, Auraiya, Anta & Faridabad made presentation on the theme “Ensuring Affordable Fuel Security for NTPC”. Four members from each team made lively and mind-boggling audio-visual presentations along with a roadmap for achieving the objective of the theme within the given time frame. Each presentation was followed by question- answer session between the panel of judges as well as the other official’s presenter. The panel of judges consisting of Shri A.K.Ahuja, RED (NC), Shri A.N.Dave, Former RED (NC), Shri J.K.Mitra, Ex Head& Dean FMS (DU).

A team consisting of Shri Rajender Singh, Dy.Supdt. (FM), Shri Arnav Kothiyal, Asstt. Manager (FM), Shri Pawan kumar Asst Manager (FM) from NTPC Dadri were declared as winners on the basis of presentation & format of report, originality, creative thinking, accuracy of content, extent of research, clarity of presentations, ability to communicate & response to questions. The panel of judges also congratulated all the teams for making thought provoking presentations and shared their words of wisdom with the participating teams. The winning team will participate in corporate level competition to be held at New Delhi shortly. Shri. R.Khetarpal, GM (PE&M.), Shri A.Chidambaram, GM (HR), Shri N.K.Kothari, GM (Badarpur), Shri N.N.Mishra, GM (Fariadabad) and other senior officials were present on the occasion.
