Q. As you are participating in Automation 2014 exhibition, what are your plans to promote your product & services in the exhibitions?
We will be exhibiting at our stall no. E 15. We will be distributing product brochures and will be showing a presentation of our newest product – Double Compression cable gland. Some of our very experienced senior managers will be manning our stall and all questions and queries relating to our products and services will be dealt by them.
Q. Which are products that will be displayed in Automation 2014 exhibition?
Our usual products like IP 54 / 68 cable glands, EMC cable glands, plugs, reducers, enlargers, lock nuts, etc. Special products like Double Compression cable glands, conduits and conduit glands will also be displayed.
Q. What are the market opportunities for GEISSEL INDIA products in India? How do you plan to position these products?
The opportunities are infinite. Besides promoting our products at important exhibitions, we plan to take support of media, intensive customer calling, and leveraging our German parentage with common contacts between both countries.
Q. Product innovation through R&D is vital to be forrader in the competition, as per your opinion how does R&D plays the role of catalyst in the success process?
There is no true success without R&D. This forms the backbone of the Geissel culture. No products are released in the market place without a proper and rigorous R&D process. Cases in point are the success of our Double Compression Gland and EMC gland. The first was fully designed and engineered in Germany, but now made in India. For the second item, we came with a simple, customer friendly and easy-to-use solution for Electro Magnetic Conductivity.
Q. What are the key technological trends that are driving cable gland & plug industry?
There is / are no particular key technological trend/s driving the cable gland & plug industry. The applications of our products have remained nearly unchanged for the past many years. But we, at Geissel, are very alert at small changes that may happen sometimes and are quick to use our R&D to meet these changes.
