Schneider Electric India launches Energy & Automation Yatra – 2015-16 to promote Energy Management & Automation for the manufacturing sector
94 city Road show will demonstrate Smart Solutions via energy efficiency and energy management to promote Smart Towns and Smart Villages
Schneider Electric – the global energy management and automation specialist and a leader in energy efficiency launched its ‘Energy and Automation Yatra – 2015-16’: a six-month road show commencing from its corporate office in Gurgaon. The road show was flagged off by Mr Anil Chaudhry, Country President and Managing Director – Schneider Electric India. The campaign is being undertaken through a specially-outfitted truck that will traverse the length & breadth of the country, from Jammu to Tuticorin and from Morbi to Guwahati, going approximately 95 Tier 2, 3 and 4 towns, including rural areas, with around 105 road show days and 75 town-to-town transit days between June and December 2015.
The Energy and Automation Yatra is an initiative in line with the Government’s Make in India & Digital India initiatives, where the nation can experience digitization in electrical distribution and solar power, industrial automation solutions. During the six-month Yatra, Schneider Electric India (SEI) will display offerings in Infrastructure, Solar solutions, Electrical Grid Distribution Management & Automation, Low Voltage distribution, and Industrial Automation

Product displays and demos by SEI experts will explain energy management & industrial automation technologies. Engagements through touch and feel of products and audiovisuals will offer a firsthand experience about efficacy and usage, allowing entrepreneurs, plant managers, facility managers, maintenance & electrical heads an in-depth understanding about the cutting-edge products functionality.
