Schneider Electric launches solar inverter sub-station at REI-2012
Schneider Electric, the global specialist in energy management, launched the Solar Inverter Sub-Station (SISS) at the Renewable Energy India -2012, Greater Noida.
SISS is a power conversion system operating between DC field and AC MV grid connections in PV Plant installations. SISS is a compact design, qualified for harsh environment present in Indian project sites. This design maximizes the inverter energy production efficiency and reduces risk of downtime.
Schneider Electric is providing energy efficient integrated solutions to its customers including the SISS, array boxes, monitoring & control, and the grid connection substations. The SISS is a factory integrated, tested & validated plug & play power generating system that contains two Conext Core XC inverters, related DC combiner box, a step-up transformer, medium voltage switchgear and other accessories. This enables customers to reduce construction lead time, lower the costs of commissioning and enhance uptime thanks to qualified & reliable design.
