Welding is an integral part of manufacturing process and the welding industry is poised for a vibrant change. In India, welding contributes significantly to the GDP in several ways such as welding intensive industries, auxiliary products, complementary goods, employment etc. Acknowledging this importance, The Indian Institute of Welding (IIW – India) in association with The International Institute of Welding (IIW) will conduct a 3 day International Congress 2020 (IC2020) on Advanced Welding Technology & Quality Systems for Developing Economies. This Congress will bring together industry professionals, academia, research institutes etc to share and gather knowledge on the latest trend in the Welding Science Technology to make the local industries globally competitive, boost industrialization and skill development. This forum is also designed to promote regional co-operation by involving neighbouring countries. The congress will be held between 6th to 8th February 2020 at CIDCO Exhibition Grounds, New Mumbai. Registrations for Technical Papers and Delegates are now open.
Alongside the IC2020, The Indian Institute of Welding, Mumbai Branch will concurrently organize an 3 day International Welding Exhibition – WELD INDIA 2020. This exhibition will present an opportunity for companies in Welding Consumables, Equipments, NDT, Fabricators and allied industries to display their wares to attract the prospective consumers and gain a foothold in future growth of developing economies. WELD INDIA 2020 will be held between 7th to 9th February 2020 at CIDCO Exhibition Grounds, New Mumbai. Registration for Exhibitors’ stall space is now open.
