Fronius India has set up another Fronius Innovation and Skills Centre in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India on 18th Nov 2022.
Fronius India & Silver Oak University jointly envision bringing a significant change, skill enhancement and increasing students’ practical knowledge along with academics, hence accentuating their employability. This big dream came into reality with the continuous and collaborative efforts of the teams of Fronius India and Silver Oak University.
The facility’s inauguration was graced by esteemed guests like Mr. Nilesh Desai, Director, Space Applications Centre (SAC/ISRO) Ahmedabad along with Mr. Deepak Acharya, Chief Operations Officer, INOX India, also the President of IIW, India and by Smt. Poonam Agarwal, Vice Chairperson, Silver Oak University, Shri Janak Khandwala, Vice President, Silver Oak University, Dr. Saurin Shah, Vice-Chancellor, Silver Oak University and Dr. Pina Bhatt, Pro-Vice Chancellor, Silver Oak University along with other members of Silver oak University. It was a delightful moment to watch our values taking shape, when Innovation & Creativity will add value to the next generation of engineers to be the prominent personnel in the department of engineering, robotics, and mainly “WELDING”. During the event, Shri Nilesh Desai spoke about the boom in the welding industry and the importance of a skill development Centre in the future and his true words are supported by Mr. Deepak Acharya who added the importance of welding and its growth in future. It was a sheer pleasure for our partners and customers who witnessed this dream come true. They also shared the valuable appreciation of the state-of-the-art set up of Fronius Innovation & Skill Centre, Ahmedabad.
The innovation & skill Centre, Ahmedabad is well equipped with manual welding stations, robotic booth, a fully operational Repair Centre, Virtual Welding Station, meeting rooms furnished with plasma and all the necessary arrangements for comfortable meetings. A exclusive training room is available for the training and events. Along with the welding set up, the Centre has an opulent, corporate working space of over 900 sq. ft., connected to our headquarters through the internet for data visibility and transfer.
