Fronius India’s new sustainable “Innovation & Skill Center”

Fronius India is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Fronius International GmbH and it commenced India operations in 2013 with headquarters at Chakan, Pune. On Tuesday, 17th November 2020 Fronius India Private Limited moved to their own premises, in the Bhosari Industrial Area to accommodate the growing needs of a wider customer base. The new premises are centrally located with good connectivity making for an easy commute. The warehouse has doubled in size, allowing Fronius India to stock a larger selection of products for customers’ convenience. The new facility has much more to offer and has been named as “Fronius India Innovatio & Skill centre”

From its roots as a simple one-man operation back in 1945, Fronius has grown to become an integral part of the industrial landscape. Over the past three quarters of a century, we have developed as a family business from a regional specialist repair shop into a player on the global stage. Our story starts with the company’s founder, Günter Fronius, who made a living as a repair and maintenance man. Then came the idea that changed everything: the trained electrical engineer built a device for recharging car batteries, allowing them to be used for longer. And with that, Fronius was born.

A passion for new technologies, intensive research and revolutionary solutions have been shaping the Fronius brand since 1945. As the technology leader, we find, develop and implement innovative methods to monitor and control energy for welding technology, photovoltaics and battery charging. In the Perfect Welding Division, we direct our attention to generating the perfect arc to ensure consistently high welding quality. The focus for our Solar Energy and Perfect Charging Divisions is to have a reliable and comprehensive supply of energy – 24 hours a day.

Perfect welding division of Fronius India has a full-fledged technology centre, built to global standards with robotic and manual welding stations spread across 4500 Sq Ft. Area. The Innovation centre is well-equipped for conducting trials & training simultaneously, ensuring that innovation & skill building happens faster and smoother. The dedicated Repair Centre of 4500 Sq Ft. area is available for better support towards repair/warranty spares & service.

Solar Rooftop Installation of 110KW. We have reduced dependency on the Electrical Grid by 30%. Pylon shows production on a daily basis. We have an exclusive viewing gallery where customers can get a real time experience of our Solar inverters and also view our installation from the top.

We have consciously used sustainable materials during construction, ensuring the facility is built to be sustainable. There is ample natural light and ventilation which ensures minimal use of HVAC and artificial temperature control.

Office Area: Fronius India new office has a state-of-the-art infrastructure, with ample space. It also houses a training centre along with separate area for small group discussions. The reception area represents the history and true DNA of Fronius business. The office staff operate from the 1st floor and the technical team from the mezzanine floor. The entire Innovation and skill centre & Repair centre can be viewed from the mezzanine floor. There is also a terrace-garden for discussions over a cup of coffee too!

The whole premises has ample green cover that provides a good ambience. There is a bio-digester and also a rain harvesting pit to ensure Sustainable disposal of solid waste and rain water. There is ample parking space in the premises. The temple of Lord Ganesha in the premises showers blessings on visitors.

Warehouse: The warehouse facility is sprawling and is spread over 10800 Sq. Ft. with well-appointed racking systems; that enables swift despatches as well as reduces lead time. ERP facility is incorporated to identify each and every part in seconds. Our warehouse is built to International standards with all the safety protocols in place.
