Messe Muenchen India and ARCI to host CALM 2019
Messe Muenchen India (MM India) and India International Advanced Research Centre for Powder Metallurgy and New Materials (ARCI), an autonomous research and development centre of the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India will together host a two-day conference – CALM 2019, at the upcoming edition of LASER World of PHOTONICS INDIA, taking place from 17 to 19 October 2019 at the Bombay Exhibition Center (BEC) in Mumbai.
CALM 2019 – International Conference on the Application of Lasers in Manufacturing – will focus on laser as a vital manufacturing tool and give an outlook on its various applications. Applications of lasers in manufacturing have been consistently growing globally, over the years. The conference will cover both the basic as well as industrial perspectives. With key note speakers who are experts in the fields of lasers and laser processing as well as laser and laser system manufacturing, the conference will cover important topics such as metal additive manufacturing, laser cladding / laser metal deposition/ repair and refurbishment, laser hardening, laser welding, cutting /drilling, laser micro/nano processing.
