Rutronik : Stainless steel power resistors with high power capability from Vishay

Vishay Intertechnology presents the new VSGR series for applications in extreme environments. The new stainless steel power resistors come with high power capability up to 20kW at 40°C and a high operating temperature range of -25°C to +250°C. The series is available at distributor Rutronik as of now.The new, robust Vishay Draloric VSGR provides protection IP00 to IP23 and will be used as a converter and brake resistor in windmill, solar, diesel generator, turbine, and railway applications. It is available with a power rating from 5kW to 20kW and a resistance range from 0.1? to 75?. Its resistance tolerance amounts to ±5% and ±10%, the temperature coefficient (TCR) is 250ppm/K. The RoHS-compliant resistor offers an easy-to-mount design and complies with Vishay Green Standards.
