Q. Please brief us about company’s global reach & latest initiatives in industrial automation space? Which are your focus areas?
SUPERSLIDES are mainly dealing in Linear Motion and transmission products represents various international manufacturers in India. The main partner of ours is Taiwan based Precision Motion Industries, Inc. popularly known as PMI.
PMI is world renowned for its Linear Motion products consists of Ballscrews, Linear Guideways & Actuators.
Having four factories in Taiwan and three in China, PMI is very popular and enjoying highest machine-tool market share in Taiwan. We are representing PMI products in India since year 2000 at that time PMI and SUPERSLIDES were very new names in Linear Motion field but now we enjoy very high market share of Machine-Tool & Automation industries. PMI almost became first choice with Indian machine-Tool manufacturers. Market share of PMI in Japan, Korea, China, and Europe & is rapidly increasing.
Q. what are the market opportunities for SUPERSLIDES products in India? How do you plan to position these products?
There is tremendous potentiality for Linear Motion products in India in coming time. Precision Machining & Industrial automation is a need with Indian automotive component manufacturers particularly when India is on its way to become hub for automotive component manufacturing for the world. Demand of high end machines will be growing year on year. We also see high growth in semiconductor and mobile phone manufacturing sectors.
India is a second largest market for mobile phone users in the world but unfortunately there is hardly any manufacturing in our country.
Country like Japan, USA, Korea and European are seeking to make India as their manufacturing partner and we see high potentiality in manufacturing sector.
Q. what is your marketing strategy for India?
Almost all the prominent Indian machine-tool manufacturers are our customers since many years the strategy is to increase our share with machine-tool manufacturer & Industrial automation providers, simultaneously we also focus on replacement & retrofitting markets. India being a large country naturally we will be focusing on expanding distributor network particularly with tier two and three cities.
Q. Brief us about the quality policy for your business?
PMI follows a very strict QC conditions, each component passes through almost 48 inspection stage before dispatch which ensures almost zero rejection because of this many of our customers just assemble our products without undergoing in-house inspection as they have high trust on PMI products after using them since many years. We at SUPERSLIDE also have a policy of 100% inspection for all valued added parts supplied through our India operations.
Q. Could you brief us on Indian & Global perspective of your industry?
Machine-Tool is a mother for any product, without good machine one can not produce high quality components may it be a metal part, plastic part or a paper part. With make in India concept, the aim is to manufacture in india which is for India and later for the world, It is sure that manufacturing sector will going to steer the India future, we have seen about 40% growth in machine-tool sector in this year and same is going to continue for coming years.
Indian Machine-Tool manufacturers are so far fulfilling around 50% of India machine-tool requirement in terms of value with knowing this fact all majour Indian machine-tool manufacturer eying on taking this share by offering high end machines which required by Defence, Railways & Aerospace sectors.
Q. According to you what are the factors affecting to your business?
I personally don’t see much challenges affecting our business; the only concern is to be consistent in supply so as to fulfill our customers’ requirements in time. With our online planning we are trying to equip our self with sufficient inventory to make sure our customers get their required parts in time every time.

Our vision is to satisfy our customers in terms of quality, price, service and timely supply. Always aim to be the preferred supplier to our customers where our customers should feel proud to be associated with us.
Q. Who are your key customers in India & global
In India our few of the most valued customers are LMW, ACE Designers, AMS, MICROMATIC Grinding, BFW, Jyoti CNC, HMT, COSMOS, LOKESH Machines, MACPOWER CNC, Electronica, L&T, BHEL, Godrej and many more as OEM, while Hyundai Motors. Maruti Suzuki, TATA Motors, Mahindra, Indian Railways and many are for replacement business.
Internationally the prominent PMI customers are DMG Mori Seiki, OKUMA, MAZAK, DOOSAN, MITSHUBISHI-EDM, SODICK, FFG Group, SPINNER, KITAMURA, HARDINGE, BRIDGEPORT, AMADA WASINO, NAKAMURA-TOME, Etc..
Q. New Facility
We are going to set up a service centre with PMI support to provide after sales services to our customers without any delay.
We also going to have new machining facilities with that we will able to fulfill most of replacement requirement quickly and matching all the technical parameters as per the originally designed part.
