The careful choice of the stationary sliding seal ring material is extremely important for the flawless functioning of the system.
Our seal rings are made of specially developed & formulated special grade Alumina ceramic composites and are marketed in our registered trade name Duralox® with varied alumina content from 92 to 96% Al2O3. They are produced in a wide range of sizes and patterns with one or both faces duly lapped or mirror polished to meet custom requirements. Duralox® is characterized by remarkable hardness and resistance to wear, erosion and corrosion by almost all chemicals except hydrofluoric acid and also has a high resistance to traction, pressure and bending. For use in less demanding conditions we also produce seal rings in Steatite ceramics.
