The Motoric Valve Drive extends the popular “OEM Actuator 5” product range and is particularly suitable for applications that demand higher actuation forces and the greatest possible strokes.

Whether it is used with balanced valves, line valves or in fan coils – the Möhlenhoff Motoric Valve Drive excels wherever a rapid control response is required independently of the temperature. Perfectly harmonized gearing with a robust, high-end stepper motor ensures absolute precision combined with an impressively low sound level. With an actuation force of up to 200 Newtons and a stroke of up to 8.5 millimeters, the Motoric Valve Drive also offers particularly high performance. Both of these parameters can be configured ex works, as can the runtime. This guarantees many different uses and potential application variants for trade and industry alike.

High energy efficiency

The Motoric Valve Drive excels not just through its low-noise operation but also through its high level of energy efficiency. The entire microcontroller-based motor control unit ensures low power consumption. Because the housing with protection class IP54 is protected against moisture irrespective of the assembly position, the valve drive can always be installed as requirements demand. A functional display alternately shows the drive position and status, the applied control voltage and the operating position. The display is also optionally available as a backlit unit.

Flexibility

The Motoric Valve Drive can be used in two-point or three-point mode as required. The continuous variants are controlled using a 0-10 V control voltage or a PWM signal. On request, the valve drive can also be equipped with valve stroke recognition and a feedback signal.

Thanks to Möhlenhoff’s unique valve adaptor system, it is compatible with practically all valve types. The connecting cables are the same as those used for Möhlenhoff’s thermoelectric valve drive technology. Assembly is performed easily using a plug-in system without the need for any tools. The maintenance-free valve drive offers a high level of functional reliability and a long service life. OEM customers can also benefit from numerous customizations – from customer-specific labeling, through accessories kits bearing their own corporate designs and on to individualized product designs.
