Q. How did the Power Industry fare in 2014?

Genset Industry did notdo well during 2014 perhaps due to low industrial outputs, lack of new industries, not many expansions of the existing industry and other demands being on a low key.

Q. Any notable technological developments in the industry you would like to reflect on?

Major technological development had to be brought about with new CPCB norms implemented w.e.f. 1st July 2014. All engines up to 1000 KVA are conforming to new CPCB II norms which are pretty stringent on emission. This will help to reduce green house gases.

Q. As a leader, what are Jakson’s achievements and milestones during the year?

Jakson with their tie-up with Cummins have been able to develop gensets complying CPCB II requirements of engine emission and sound norms.
