Highlight the current landscape and growth prospects of Power industry in India.
Power is one of the most critical components of infrastructure crucial for the economic growth and welfare of our country. In today’s time it is also a resource that is demanded the most to sustain our lifestyles. Conventional sources of power such as coal, lignite, natural gas, oil though still heavily relied upon, are now making way for newer and more viable sources such as hydro, nuclear, solar, wind to name a few. In the past 15 years, power consumption has increased rapidly and is expected to grow exponentially far outpacing the current capacity within the next 5 years. With electrification reaching 100% of the villages in India, this is just the tip of the iceberg. With more modernisation comes an innate need of power capacity to sustain lifestyles. Household kitchens are being electrified everyday with the adaptation of induction plates and cookware; transport systems are moving to all electric modes; IoT connects all future ready devices to each other and are online throughout their lifetime; the possibilities and applications are endless. The power industry is backed by strong fundamental factors and demand and is poised to expand at a fantastic rate in the coming few years.
How are your products/services geared up to be in line with recent trends, such as Industry 4.0 and Smart Manufacturing?
Industry 4.0 and smart manufacturing go hand in hand. As such we have already started on implementation of high scales of automation for manufacture of our products at our facilities. We are also exploring IoT implementation for greater access and synergy across our multiple units. Keeping in line with the global requirements we have also made head way into the development of RFID enabled security seals and cable ties and are looking forward to developing new technologies to help meet the requirements of on Demand Track and Trace.
What is your vision for your company (in terms of new product launch, innovation/collaboration)? How do you see your brand growing by 2020?
We at Novoflex, pride ourselves as being built on the cornerstone of innovation. From the beginning of our journey in 1980, we have been introducing India to innovative products to increase productivity, reduce overhead costs and most importantly minimise recall costs. Based on the First Time Right philosophy, we offer premium global standard products at competitive prices. With a high degree of focus on product design and ease of use, we offer our customers with simple solutions to complicated bottlenecks. Our engineering team reduces the need for keeping inventory of multiple parts by combining multiple features in a single component.
Our latest product offering is of Metal Detectable Cable Ties that have extensive application in the food processing and chemical processing industries. Made from a specially formulated compound, these Nylon cable ties are easily detectable by magnets and X Ray systems and provide great value in deterring contamination. Our vision for Novoflex is to be a globally acclaimed manufacturer of cable ties, cable glands and wiring accessories. We aim to target and anticipate the needs of our customers to help simplify their requirements effectively and competently.
