Maharashtra leads with 25% representation in the Indian Delegation At Hannover Fair 2015

The 2015 edition of HANNOVER MESSE, the world’s largest and oldest engineering trade fair in Germany, will see a major representation from the state in the Industrial Supply, Industrial Automation, MDA and Energy sectors. The presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the show is expected to give a huge impetus to Indian manufacturers and Indo-German trade relations as a whole.

The EEPC India along with the India Brand Equity Foundation (IBEF) have been mandated by the Ministry of Commerce, to ensure high commitment from the country at HANNOVER MESSE 2015 and to showcase the country’s potential in providing an advanced and quality supply of engineering goods and turnkey services to global players. The Partner Country project is being implemented under the direction of Ministry of Commerce, Government of India through EEPC, CII and India Brand Equity Foundation (IBEF).

The focus of the fair is to bring together expertise from two different countries and encourage collaborations in order to increase the Indo-German trade relations. The participants at the fair will receive a firsthand view of technological advancements in the field of engineering. Consider-ing that the India’s participation in the fair in 2006 generated total business to the tune of US $ 1.3 billion, the fair can be expected to draw significant attention in related sectors across India.
