Dr. Kurt Wagemann, CEO of ACHEMA 2015, held in Frankfurt recognized the contribution of Mr. Om Prakash, Director – In ORBIT Tours Pvt. Ltd. of India. While inaugurating the India Day celebration in Frankfurt Germany. Dr. Wagemann informed the international audience, that it is 12th Achema (36 years) that Mr. Om Prakash has been promoting Achema Fair for Indian visitors. He appreciated his dedicated cooperation as “Travel Partner of Dechema” for his success in bringing large groups of Indian visitors to Achema for 36 years without a break Dr. Wagemann congratulated Mr. Om Prakash for his presence and for being presented the German Award for his dedicated services for over 4 decades in promotion of German Fairs.

India Day at Achema 2015
India Day was celebrated at Achema to honour the Indian visitors & exhibitors. This celebration is organised by Dechema and Chemtech Foundation to project India’s potential to attract foreign investments in India. Eminent speakers from Germany and India addressed the gathering of nearly 400 delegates. Many visitors and exhibitors present at India Day celebration in Frankfurt, Germany complimented Mr. Om Prakash’s services and attributed their success to Mr. Om Prakash.

Mr. Hemant Goel, Managing Director, Goel Scientific Glass Works Ltd., India, commented that it was in 1991 that he had visited Achema with Mr. Om Prakash for the first time. He became an exhibitor & has been exhibiting ever since.

Mr. Jaipal Shah, Managing Director, Unipack Machines Pvt. Ltd., also commented that it was Mr. Om Prakash, who brought him to Achema and other German Fairs and he also became an Exhibitor at Achema.

Mr. Rakesh Bansal, Director of Uniline Energy Systems Pvt. Ltd., also recalled his first visit in 1992 to Germany, which helped him to establish business contacts with many international companies.

Mr. Om Prakash was emotionally overwhelmed with such appreciation and compliments by many successful Indian businessmen and the German Organisors of Achema. Needless to mention that Mr. Om Prakash has been presented Indo German Awards 3 times and many Awards including United States of America, China, UK and other countries for his contribution of promotion of international trade fairs for over 4 decades.

In ORBIT’s Achema group of 100 members
Mr. Om Prakash led the Indian group of 100 members including Exhibitors and Visitors from all over India. The Exhibitors’ group also participated in the special party arranged by The Lord Mayor of Frankfurt in the historical Municipal Romer Hall. This hall was decorated by the life size photos of 52 German Emperors.

Indians highly rewarded by the visit
All Indian visitors were highly impressed by their visit to Achema 2015, which is considered “Global Summit of Innovations”. The statistics of Achema 2015 are as under:

Visitors : 167000 from more than 100 countries.

Focus : Latest innovations in New Products & Technologies for the Chemical, Pharma & Food Industry through the contribution of Process Industry.

As per Prof. Rainer Diercks, Chairman of Board of DECHEMA termed ACHEMA the Global Summit of Innovation. He said that Achema is the “melting pot of ideas”. He further said that the contribution of Chemistry and Process Engineering to the solution of global challenges such as water supply, food or health is not well known to the general public. ACHEMA therefore aims increasingly to enter into dialogue with the public.

The General Manager of German Association of Chemical Industries Dr. Ulz Tillman emphasized the importance of the innovation in
