PANAM ENGINEERS LTD is an ISO 9001- 2008 certified company which was established in 1998 with complete focus on exports. PANAM stands for Professionalism, Automation, Network, Authenticity and Motivation, qualities that have made PANAM one of the leading manufacturer of instrumentation products.
PANAM has spread its wings to many horizons by developing and renewing its infrastructure from time to time. Apart from infrastructure it has appointed distributors and representatives for effective marketing and deep penetration of its products worldwide. Till date PANAM has successfully developed its network in 42 countries and is still continuing.
Q. Please brief us about company’s infrastructure & what are the technology alliances that has been made in order to out-front the competition?
PANAM’ s production facility is stretched out in two locations over 32000 sq. ft. area with a fleet of 40 CNC machines apart from a number of other automatic and semi automatic machines and laser engraving machines. Latest milestone achieved by PANAM is commissioning of state of the art manufacturing plant in Gujarat on 150,000 sq. ft. area with additional another 27 CNC and 5 VMC machines, automatic and semi automatic machinery, R&D center and in-house product testing facility to its existing fleet. Q. What are the products manufactured by Panam Engineers?
PANAM manufactures and supplies a diverse range of instrumentation products from standard compact unit of instrumentation Tube/Pipe Fittings and Valves, such as Needle Valves, Ball Valves, Check Valves, Relief Valves & 2,3,5 Way Valve Manifolds, Double Block & Bleed Valves, Regulators to complex purpose built systems with integrated instrumentation control panels, Pressure Reducing Stations. PANAM has recently achieved another milestone by developing Transmitters, Pressure, Differential Pressure and Temperature to its existing product range.
Q. What is your marketing strategy for India?
PANAM’s marketing strategy for India is a two step process, Firstly we are working in developing network of distributors and representatives across India and will continue with them in future as well. However new distributors and representatives will be appointed where PANAM’s presence is absolutely required. Secondly we will expand our customer base by catering to various industry & sectors untapped so far.
Q. Product innovation through R&D is vital to be forrader in the competition, as per your opinion, how does R&D plays the role of catalyst in the success process?
Yes. R&D plays a vital role and is one of the pillar on which any successful company stands. As evolution is a continuous process and change is always constant. Innovation & continuous improvement is need of the hour. A dedicated team of professionals and experts are required to come up with novelty product which will act as catalyst in your race to success. Research and innovation has been the foundation of success at PANAM and so we strongly believe in keeping with par with new technology. Apart from the ISO certification, PANAM has to its credit many more product certification proving the credibility of the utilization of the product in its respective field of application, In-house testing infrastructure & the ability & capability to perform the testing is self explanatory of retrieving & supply of quality products. In-house facility and team of expert R&D dept helps us keep quality at equilibrium.
Q. According to you what are the factors affecting your business?
On a negative side, fluctuating raw material prices, fluctuating global oil prices, fluctuating dollar prices and shortage of skilled man power are some. And also highly deep rooted wrong perception of Indian manufacturers in world market where we are still looked down as third world country. On a positive note we are very hopeful about the new initiative of “MAKE IN INDIA” policy framed by the new government which also on another hand is encouraging countrymen in promoting “MAKE IN INDIA” initiative worldwide.
Q. What are the key technological trends that are driving the industry?
Infrastructure, sophisticated and latest machinery are the key trends that are shaping the industry. However strategy has been similar to the global economy which throws unpredictable variables every day. Churning out success in areas of prime concern is the need of the hour.
Q. How do you perceive the future of the industry ?
Current deep in the global oil price is just a temporary phase. Industry has an excellent future due to growth in every sector is being visualized currently. Development has no limits and internationally all over it is being seen as a key to success & provability.
Q. What is your vision for Panam Engineers for near future?
PANAM has already gone several steps head of its competitors in many ways by commissioning huge plant in Gujarat on 150000 sq ft, area with latest infrastructure, machinery and with an excellent in-house capacities to carry out various processes and activities. PANAM’s vision for near future is to focus on generating business from untapped domestic and international markets and developing new products.
