Global industrials player, Pentair Valves & Controls has announced a range of local investments and integrated strategies to deliver important infrastructure products, services and solutions in India.

The company’s Valves & Control’s business unit is planning a range of investments that include opening two brand new valve and controls service centres – one on each coast – a string of new products and a renewed “Made in India for India” focus. The new integrated strategy is designed to keep the company close to local customers in core infrastructure industries, including oil & gas, power, chemical and petrochemical, water and mining.

“Our products, services and solutions help provide vital infrastructure for the people of India, including its emerging middle class,” explains I.S. “Service and maintenance and repair operations (MRO) have always been key differentiators between Pentair and competitors. We are continuing to expand our local capability,” Malhotra adds. “This is another example of how we are staying close to our customers here.”

Two Pentair Valves & Controls India service centres are now being commissioned and will come online in the first quarter of 2013. High-end critical products and systems for industries such as oil & gas, petrochemicals and alumina refining will be serviced in these state of art centres.
