Q. How did Automation industry performed in 2014 ?
In the beginning of 2014, with the global cash crunch, Indian industries were no exception for their investment in Automation and process up gradation. In fact, most of the companies were struggling hard for survival in the stiff economic situation of our country. But fortunately, with the New Government in power, the whole manufacturing Industries started seeing the brighter light of the day in terms of overall economic situation. The Word “Make in India” ransacked the whole Industries and provide support for not only survival but also growth in many fold with new economic thrust. The manufacturing Industries had by now realized that the Investment in Automation is the key for not only adhere to the stiff quality standards but also will assure productivities and hence the demand for high end automation systems are found to be in increasing trend by the last quarter of the year, not only in Automotive sector but also in other Industries as well.

Q. What are the future technology trend of the industry ?
Larger Automotive Industries had already experiences Robotic Automation in manufacturing of their Cars with the technology that is going stay for some more time to come. But it is time for the Sub suppliers of the components and Parts, where process automation will be required, to stay competitive, since Globally acknowledged MNC companies are trying to make their presence felt in this segment as well. Use of more and more Laser based technologies for welding and cutting processes in connivance with Robotic Systems will find their presence for fabrication of parts, which will ensure practically Zero distortion with Zero defect welding with ensured quality. Use of On Line Automatic Short Blastic , Painting systems will make their presence felt in these high volume manufacturing companies in line with European and Japanese manufacturers.
In short, the system oriented manufacturing process will be in place very soon

Q. What are initiatives carried out by your company ?
We at Automation India Welding Technology Pvt Ltd, are providing up-to-date automation Robotic technologies in welding and cutting process and we are in line to introduce Automatic Short Blastic and Paining systems to the Indian manufacturers using Robotic automation. We are also providing the automated Robotic solution for Grinding and Polishing for the Foundry and Forging Industries including Pick and place Robots for total automation line.

Q. What will be the future of the industry ?
Indian Automation Industries will have to move Miles in comparison to the European and Japanese Industries. The Indian suppliers of the Automation systems, like in Europe need to be treated as a Technology Partner, not as a Trader and then the technology & the requirement are to be shared among each other in trust worthy manner, so that the supplier can design & upply the perfect Automation system supported by back up Services. This will only ensure the performance of Automation system, failing which the Automated system will stand like a Crane inside the works without any throughput, irrespective of its manufacturer.
