Q. Please brief us about company’s global reach & latest initiatives in industrial automation space?
We are one of the pioneers in the global automation industry and we are also proud that some of the products were invented by us more than 30 years back. We are one of the few manufacturers who are making use of the knowledge which have gained by supplying to the transportation and aerospace industry to adapt them for industrial uses which ensurers a very high reliability of products. We also believe in being innovative and have a plan of launching 1 product/month.
Q. What are the prospects for automation products in India? How do you plan to position these products?
The market is growing pace and most traditional users are shifting slowly to automation products. We believe in customisation and are want to position our products in the top range of automation products with high end specs and quality.
Q. What is the current scenario of automation industry?
The automation sector is booming in India as more and more OEM’s and companies are looking for products to enhance the value of the product and also be competitive on the technology side of the market and not just on the commercial side alone.
Q. What are the future opportunities for industrial automation sector?

Q. What are the distinguishing factors in comparison of Indian against the global automation industry?
The Indian automation industry is still very price sensitive and most decisions are based on price and most customers are not willing to pay higher price for some added features which in turn can enchance the machine /process of the customer.

Q. Please comment on how can the Indian automation industry become globally competitive?
We have one of the most competive manufcaturing faclities but the reliability and also the efficicency of manpower is very less. We need to work on Quality, Value Added features and not just copy some large global supplier product to get some quick business. We need to think more on the long run than just think on short term gains.
Q. Could you brief us about your topline product range? What are value added services you provide to your customers?
We are one of the few manufacturers worldwide having the complete spectrum of products where we are present. For eg. in our encoder ranges we have the complete range from a small 40mm to a textile and packaging machines to a large 90mm dia encoder for Steel , Paper and Oil & Gas market and we also then have the complete communcaition available in our encoders so that they can communicate with PLC’s Directly. We also have our focus on customisation and can design and adapt a product as per customer specifications or as the application demands.
Q. What are your future plans to maintain substantial market positioning in industrial automation space?
We want to be a premium player in the Indian automation market. We would like to offer the top of the line specifications for each of our products and not be a me too kind of product. We will shortly having our own Industrial Engineering Centre in India with which we can be closer to our OEMs and discuss with them on how to redesign our products to their application.
Q.What factors bestow the success of your company?
We want to be a premium supplier to all our customers which does not mean just high quality products but also on after sales and pre sales to ensure the customer is satisfied with what he is paying for.
