Q. PROLITE being recognized brand & has created credible brand recall among the industry , please share some of your milestones & achievements?
We are in the field of Emergency / Egress lighting solutions since 1984. We are ISO 9001:2008 certified company and also have CRISIL rating. Some of our products are CE certified. We export to more than 16 countries.

Q. Could you brief us about overall business activities of your company (tie-ups, associations, reach, network) ?
We have wide range of dealers network in India from Kashmir to Kanyakumari, we have more than 80 dealers. We have our own offices in Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore & Pune and resident representatives in various states. We also have an after sales service network throughout.

Q. Can you elaborate more about the product portfolio & it’s applications?
We are in the field of PROLITE Emergency egress route lighting systems since the past 28 years. We later introduced AUTOGLO photoluminescent signages 15 years back. The above range of products is the most vital products used in emergency evacuation from enclosed premises to get to the exteriors or safe assembly area. They help in speedy evacuation. These products in today scenario with multistoried structures coming up cannot be dispensed with and should be adequately placed where required.

Q. Which are the some of your pioneering products you introduced in the market recently or Is there any plans to launch the new products?
We have recently introduced Solar Street Lights, Conversion Modules for all variants of lighting & One Watt Egress light for the first time in India. We would be soon introducing Solar Home Lighting Solutions.

Q. How do you account R&D activity in your company?
We give special emphasis to R&D because emergency lighting system is all about technology. In order to excel one has to continuously look for better products.We invest 6-7% of our budget into R&D. We believe in coming out with new innovative products rather than selling the existing products.

Q. Brief us about the quality policy for your business?
We are committed to manufacture products to the satisfaction of our clients taking into consideration the cost benefits and also maintain the quality of our products. We are able to achieve the same as we have a strong R&D team who carry continual improvement on our products.

Q. How do you foresee “India” as a potential market , what are the prospects?
In India the potential is huge, especially when India’s economy is growing and industrial and commercial buildings are being setup in large numbers. According to National Building Code installation of Emergency Lighting System is mandatory. There is already a law for it, but the government needs to make sure that it is to be implemented in right and adequate manner.

Q. What are your strategies to improve the PROLITE‘s position in Indian & global market as well?
In the Indian market, we conduct seminars and training programmes at architect and engineering colleges so that when the students pass out from the colleges as a architects & engineers , they are aware about the importance our products and they implement the same in their projects. We participate in the international exhibitions & seminars to tap the global markets and make our presence felt.

Prolite Autoglo Limited was incorporated for manufacturing & supplying various types of Emergency Lights/Lighting Systems to the entire satisfaction of customers. It provides more than 100 Models for different usages & locations. This company is capable of manufacturing according to other special requirements of the customers. These Emergency Lights are manufactured as per the IS Specifications. All the process of manufacturing “AUTOGLO” signages are carried out in-house such as: Designing, Screen Printing & U.V. Curing. Any special requirement of the customer can be designed & manufactured within a short period. These include Safety Signs, Tapes, Route Markers, and Escape Route Plan & Low Location Lighting (LLL) etc. It can be manufactured on any base like Rigid PVC, Acrylic & Aluminium as required. DRDO has certified its “GLOW” in complete darkness for 100 hours.

We are exporting our products to more than 16 countries worldwide. The above products are manufactured to the best of standards & under strict technical supervision. They are subjected to strict quality control by expert technical staff. No matter whatever advancement has been achieved in the Lighting field, constant power supply can never be achieved and at one time or the other power failures are bound to occur and reoccur.
