Neptune started with the vision to offer the latest technology and services in the field of electrical energy, which gives satisfaction and delight to customers. The vision is to achieve top position in the field of Energy Saving and Power Quality Management. The power capacitors offered by us are having technology, which is the latest in the world and we enjoy good market share. We have Joint Venture with Ducati Energia spa, Italy which offers latest technology in the field of Capacitors & Power Quality Solutions including energy management.

Q. What is the overall outlook for Neptune & brief about its India’s global & domestic presence?
To achieve our vision, we have Joint Ventures with the leading companies, which are best in their field. Our major concentration is Indian Market which has tremendous opportunities in various fields an infrastructure – Be it power, power and electricity, industry, building sector, Metro, Airport, Railways, Defence etc. However, we do export part of production to few selected countries.

Q. How about Neptune’s’ initiatives in energy management space? Which are your focus areas?

Q. What are the market opportunities for Neptune products in India& How do you plan to position these products?
As mentioned in our slogan, I love Energy, which we achieve with the latest products in every field of electrical energy – Plugs & Sockets for Connecting Energy, LV Distribution Panel for distributing energy, Power Analyzers for Managing Energy, Home automation for controlling energy, Capacitor & Power factor Relays for saving energy and Harmonic Filtration for improving the quality of energy. Thus, we have opportunities in all the sectors and one of our products is present in almost all the projects in India.

Q. What is your marketing strategy for Indian market?
We maintain effective customer contact programme and educate them on the latest trend in the field of energy saving and power quality which offered by Neptune group. The requirements are to be generated by such programmes and to be met through business partners who we then continue to appoint to get availability of our products at all strategic locations in the country.

Q. Can you please elucidate the contribution of R & D in the success of products?
We along with our JV Partner Companies are working dedicatedly on R&D Developments and are always keen to offer the latest technology to our customers year by year and remain ahead of our competition.

Q. Can you brief us more about Neptune’s top line product range?
All the products offered by Neptune are of latest technology and top quality which includes not only capacitors but Plug and Sockets, LV Distribution Panels, Power Quality Solutions and Home Automation etc. To achieve this, we have Joint Ventures with best of the companies Ducati Energia, Bals Elektrotechnik, Tab Systems, and Elsteel.

Q. What are the key technologies trends that are driving power capacitors industry?
Now a days, there are lot of problems in the distribution network created by harmonics, thus the companies, which offers complete solutions for improving power factor and also enhance the quality of power can only survive. Customer now need complete power factor solution, and not only loose capacitors. Thus, the latest trend is to offer complete solution rather selling loose power capacitors in the market.
