Lapp India launches OLFLEX HEAT 650

Lapp India, a 100% subsidiary of the Lapp Group Germany and a leading supplier of integrated solutions and branded products in the field of cable and connection technology in India, has introduced OLFLEX®HEAT 650. OLFLEX®HEAT 650 can withstand ambient temperatures up to +650°C. With a constant temperature resistance of up to +650°C, OLFLEX®HEAT 650 is designed to be used in heavy industries. It is also used in heating modules, electric heating devices, heat lockers, furnaces, electric ranges, ceramic processing and chemical industries.  Nickel strands and braided glass fibre insulated single core (SC) cables makes OLFLEX®HEAT 650 extremely strong and durable at high temperatures, coupled with a good resistance level.

Whether it’s in power plants, blast furnaces or engines – cables must be able to withstand extreme heat and mechanical stress. Right cabling solutions are critical for safety. To meet the industry requirements, the Lapp Group offers specialised cabling solutions such as OLFLEX®HEAT 650.

The product is flame retardant according to IEC 60332-1-2. Its halogen free property eliminates the threat of forming caustic and contributes to less corrosion damage to equipment near the fire
